One of my childhood friends recently had a baby girl, and this was just the perfect excuse to make something handmade for her. :)
I love the look and feel of board books, so I created a simple 6 page mini using papers from the Basic Grey Bittersweet 6x6 pad. The finished album measures 3" x 6".
For the card, I masking off the border, lightly stamped Hero Arts Starburst Lace (S5317) with Victorian Velvet Distress Ink and lightly shaded the edges with my blending tool to give the "frame" some added definition.
I finally got around to buying the Hero Arts Antique Engravings (CL383) set after having drooled over it since it was released. The butterfly was stamped over some Basic Grey Porcelain paper.
