Video Tutorial: Little Birdie Crafts Journal

Hi Everyone!

Hope you are doing well! Today I have a very special video to share with you. I was contacted by Harish and Rashmi Closepet who are owners of an Indian Crafts Manufacturer called Little Birdie Crafts, they do fabulous embellishments and flowers which are probably the most beautiful I have ever seen.

The shabby chic style of crafting is something completely new to me! As I am always up for a challenge I wanted to give it a go, and honestly it took me less than an hour to make this mini album, which I am so please about! I used Eileen Hull's Sizzix Journal die which is a must if you are into making mini albums, art journaling and travelers' notebooks.

Here's the video tutorial I made:

Rashmi sent me some info about the company:

Harish & I came back from Australia after having lived there for 10 years wanting to do something which can employ & empower Rural women. We started a small factory employing about 40 women in Bangalore & started making handmade things & started exporting them. Then we reached out to smaller villages where there was no rain, low employment rates & started smaller Rural centres there employing local women.

Today we employ more than 2000 women directly & indirectly! We also support an orphanage which houses around 55 children & some elderly challenged women. We also support a child rescue centre in a city close to Bangalore. All the products we manufacture in the Little Birdie brand are totally handmade. Every petal in the flower you see is hand embossed, hand shaded, hand glittered. We export our products globally & In the year 2007, we started Itsy Bitsy , a Hobby & Craft store in Bangalore. Today, we have 20 stores Pan India, covering 7 major metros & there are more in the pipeline! We are truly a vertically integrated Craft business that does everything from ideation to designing to sourcing to manufacturing & Retail !

Our core business is making handmade paper flowers but we are also into making intricate laser cut Chipboard shapes, Burlap flowers, fabric flowers, embellishments, stencils, colour sprays, Adhesives, Mixed Media paste, crackle medium, Gel medium, Chalk paints, Metallic paints & more! All our Adhesives & mediums are ASTM / EN 71 approved. Our International customers can buy from our Little Birdie website: www.Littlebirdiecrafts.com. The minimum purchase is $150 & the shipping is absolutely free. I hope this info helps 🙂 🙂  Let me know if you need anything else.

Thank you for sending me all these gorgeous products and I hope to visit your stores some day and meet the rest of your team! <3

Thank you for visiting my blog and have a fabulous day! :)
