Summer Card Camp!

Today is the first day of the Summer Card Camp that Kristina Werner and Jennifer McGuire have collaborated on with some extremely talented ladies.

I love online classes that I can participate in from the comfort of my own home. And after seeing the guest designers' list, I didn't even need to think about it twice! :)

Here's a sneak peek video:

Registration is open till June 29th, so do join in! Here's what I made inspired by Week 1's Color Combo:

Frame stamp: Paula Pascual Punchable Labels
All other stamps Hero Arts
Embossing powders by Wow! Embossing Powders: Metallic Blue and Ebony Superfine
Distress Inks: Worn Lipstick, Spiced Marmalade, Dusty Concord

The butterfly was water-coloured with Distress Inks for Hero Art's March Challenge technique of the month and congratulations theme. The tiny white butterfly in the corner was made with shrink plastic and my favourite Martha Stewart Large Monarch Butterfly Punch. I just love how it turned out, shrink plastic will now be a staple in my craft stash! The butterfly, label, and the main background are all given extra dimension with foam adhesive tape and dots. I also added some wire antennae for the butterfly for added interest. :)

Thanks for looking!

I'm also enrolled in Summer Card Camp and a big fan of Jennifer and Kristina -- I think we will have all fun and I'm looking forward to meeting new crafters too!

    Happy Creating,
