Work has been really busy for me (I hope every blog post won't begin like this, haha!), and I haven't had much time for crafting. My little crafting corner looks like a warzone, and I don't have the energy to tidy up. Oh well, many a masterpiece has been created in a 5" x 5" square of desk space! ;-)
I've been wanting to try my hand at making a canvas, but I've been hesitant about creating a complete disaster. When I saw this adorable little canvas, I knew that I couldn't resist having a go! This will be my entry for Hero Arts' May Challenge. So here's what I came up with:
I just had an idea that I could wrap the edges of the canvas with tissue tape, I think I will probably do that tomorrow.
Here's my entry for the Lily Pad Cards Sketch Challenge:
I used strips that I had trimmed off from the centre and glued them to the inside for some added interest:

Both cards are so pretty! The flowers on the first one are gorgeous.
